All Swage Nipple manufactured by BANGDONG are either manufactured from seamless pipe or bar material and have suitable working pressure equivalent to straight seamless pipes. We use high quality raw materials (steel pipes, bar stock) for manufacturing stainless steel swage nipples and carbon steel swage nipples. The raw materials we use are fully traceable to the mill source through our MTR reports. Our products are manufactured as per customer specifications and in accordance with international standards including American Standard (ASTM/ANSI), the British Standard (BS), and the DIN/European standard. NPT threads on Swage Nipples conform to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1.

We can offer Swage Nipples with plain, beveled or threaded ends. Thickness and outside diameters of swage nipples shall correspond to those of the appropriate nominal pipe size. When listing the end connections of a swage, unlike a pipe nipple, the order matters. The end connection of the larger OD is listed first, and the smaller OD second. There are several end connections/combinations available for swages: threaded both ends (TBE), threaded by plain (TXP), plain by threaded (PXT), plain both ends (PBE), beveled by threaded (BXT) or other combinations of plain, threaded, and beveled. The end connections of the swage depends on the end connections of the piping system into which the swage will be fitted.

Note: Industry language sometimes includes specifications such as "PSE x TLE", which simply means plain short end by threaded long end; the "S" stands for short and the "L" stands for long.

Carbon Steel Nipples and swages commonly come without a coating (also referred to as plain or black), but they can also come galvanized, which has a metallic finish. Pipe Nipples and swages made of stainless and other materials are not typically coated.
